Burglary suspect caught watching porn

Marathon – A 19 year old who broke into a Marathon business overnight was caught inside watching porn on one of the business’s computers.

Deputies Nicholis Whiteman and Nicholas Abroe responded to an alarm call at Windswept Appliance and Air Conditioning at 11:20 p.m. When they arrived, they could see a light on inside. Deputy Whiteman found a door on the side of the business that was unlocked and he opened it. He found 19 year old Kenneth White inside, pulling his pants up. Playing on a computer screen in front of White was a pornographic movie.

Upon questioning, White said he was in the closed and locked business “looking for a job”. He later also said he’d gone inside the business because he saw a light on and was “investigating”.

A broken window was found where he most likely entered the building. His shoes were found on the ground just outside the window. He was charged with burglary, criminal mischief and theft and he was taken to jail.
