A Tavernier man is in jail charged with having sex with a 15 year old girl who is now pregnant and says it is his child.
21 year old Raymond Ferro and the 15 year old girl both admit to having a sexual relationship. In a Facebook communication to the girl’s mother, and in a phone conversation with the girl’s father, Ferro apologized for the situation, admitting to having sex with the teen.
Detective Daniel Mehler was assigned to investigate the case. On Friday, he met with Ferro and interviewed him, During the interview, Ferro admitted to having a sexual relationship with the girl for the past four months. He was placed under arrest, charged with lewd and lascivious acts on a victim between the ages of 12 and 16. He was booked into jail.
Eighteen years old you are an adult and can vote, however your mother will have to buy your bullets for you if you are a police officer. 21 years old is still too young to be considered a sex offender; you will destroy this young couple for the rest of their lives. This will not make this young girl leave her 'man'!
