Two charged with business burglary

Grassy key – Two men arrested in the city of Key West for burglarizing Key West High School have also been charged with a burglary to a business on Grassy Key.

Deputy Leon Bourcier responded to the Grassy key Marina Sunday morning after the manager called to report the storage facility at the marina had been burglarized. He said as he was looking around and beginning to make a list of items that were stolen, he got a call from Key West Police. They told him they had two people in custody who had items in their possession which belonged to the Grassy Key marina.

Items stolen from the marina included a power washer, a paint sprayer, a radio and a laptop computer.

A warrant was issued for 33 year old Sir Lawrence Dixon of Davie, Florida and 41 year old Carl Crabtree of Hollywood, Florida. Both men, who were in jail on Key West Police burglary charges, were additionally charged with burglary and grand theft relating to the Grassy Key marina crime.
