Update on homeless man, found dead in Marathon wooded area

Marathon – Detectives from the Sheriff’s Major Crime Unit, along with the Medical Examiner’s Office, are continuing to investigate the death of a homeless man whose body was found in a wooded area near 62^nd Street in Marathon on January 20th.

Detectives say they have notified the family of 41 year old Kenneth Paul Anderson. His body was found by another homeless man who was living in a tent in the wooded area. The Medical Examiner has conducted an autopsy, and tests from that autopsy are still pending. As of today, the cause of Anderson’s death is not clear. He had some visible injuries, but also had an extensive medical history.
