Drug take back program with Walgreens
Major Crimes Detective Manny Cuervo worked with folks from Walgreens recently at a Drug Take Back day in Marathon recently. The goal was to get old and outdated medications out of people’s cupboards and cabinets and disposed of properly.
The Sheriff's Office maintains drop boxes at it's various substations and at the headquarters building on Stock Island and will come pick up any medications if you call.
