Seven migrants in Key Largo

Seven Cuban migrants were picked up on a small island offshore of Key Largo today around noon. They were turned over to agents from Customs and Border Protection. All seven were males and were in good health. The migrant photo is from Monroe County Sheriff’s Deputy Dave Campbell. The photo of the boat is from Bobby Dube from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.

Seven other male Cuban migrants were handed over to CBP yesterday after arriving on shore in the vicinity of the 95.5 mile marker in Rock Harbor
yesterday at about 9 a.m.
