The owner of Seabird Marina told Deputy Andrew Siefert he checked the marina at 12:30 a.m. before going to bed. He said he awoke at 8 a.m. to find 11 boats had been broken into and electronics had been taken.
The owners of the boats were notified of the crimes and a crime scene detective responded to process all the boats for possible evidence of who the suspects might have been.
