Sexual Predator notification

A man designated by the courts as a Sexual Predator was recently released from prison and told the Florida Department of Corrections (FDOC) he intends to reside at a Key Largo address now that he is not incarcerated.

The Sheriff’s Office is required by law to notify the community when someone designated as a Sexual Predator moves into the county and registers as a resident here. 35 year old Miguel Soto gives his new address as 516 Boyd Drive in Key Largo, according to a notice from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

A web site operated by the FDOC says Soto was arrested on a number of charges in Miami-Dade County in July of 1996, including multiple counts of burglary and sexual battery. The web site also says that he will be under community supervision on “sex offender probation” until July of 2016.
