A 28 year old Pembroke Pines man was stabbed Sunday night at a bar in Islamorada.
Shane Arscott told Deputy Garrett Test he was at the back bar at Hog Heaven just before midnight. He said he was saving a seat for a woman when a man sat down in it. The two men reportedly began to argue and suddenly Arscott said it felt like someone hit him in the back. He then realized he’d been stabbed.
A friend of his drove him to Mariner’s Hospital where the Sheriff’s Office was notified of the incident. Arscott was later transported to Kendall Regional Medical Center in Homestead for treatment of the stab wound.
Detectives will be investigating the incident.
