Sheriff's Office awarded Triple Crown status

In late June, Sheriff Rick Ramsay traveled to Baltimore, Maryland to accept the prestigious Triple Crown Award at the National Sheriff’s Association conference. The award was presented by the NSA in recognition of the three national accreditations held by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office  in Law Enforcement, Corrections and Correctional Health Care. Only 38 Sheriff’s Offices in the U.S. have attained this status. The Sheriff’s Office also maintains state accreditations in law enforcement and corrections.

“I am truly honored to have received this award,” said Sheriff Ramsay. “Our agency works hard every day to maintain our accreditation status. It is a true testament to our professionalism and our commitment to providing our community with the best law enforcement and correctional service.”
