A man visiting the Florida Keys from North Dakota died while snorkeling offshore of the Lower Keys Sunday afternoon.
72 year old George Hsu on board a boat with his wife, and his brother and sister in law at 2 p.m. He was snorkeling near Looe Key Reef when he called for help. His wife, who was on the boat, saw he was in distress. She, along with the others on board, pulled him into the boat.
They began performing CPR on Hsu; a Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission boat was in the vicinity and responded, escorting the vessel to shore at the Dolphin Marina Resort.
