Third suspect turns himself in

The third man wanted in connection with a Marathon aggravated battery case turned himself in to the Sheriff’s Office Sunday.

20 year old Ottoniel Garcia was booked into jail on aggravated battery charges Sunday after turning himself in at the Marathon Sheriff’s Substation. The charges stem from a fight which took place in the early morning hours of January 22nd on 65^th Street Oceanside in Marathon

The victim was airlifted to a Miami hospital for treatment of injuries to his face and head. The three men reportedly attacked the victim in an argument about nationality; the suspects are Guatemalan and the victim is Cuban.
