Sheriff Rick Ramsay presents $5K check to nonprofit

Sheriff Rick Ramsay presented United Way of Collier and the Keys Area President Leah Stockton (at left) and Operations and Community Engagement Coordinator Tiffany Moore (at right) with a $5,000 check Thursday to fund the organization’s efforts in memory of former Monroe County Commissioner Mike Forster who died in 2021 due to complications from COVID-19. The ‘Be like Mike’ initiative encourages random acts of kindness to continue Mr. Forster’s legacy.
