A
27-year-old construction worker from Memphis, Tennessee threatened to shoot a
coworker with a gun Wednesday during a dispute.
Christopher
Robin Murrell was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
The
Sheriff’s Office responded near Mile Marker 77.5 at approximately 5:37 a.m. A
dispute arose among workers after Murrell refused to move traffic cones.
Murrell
told the coworker not to mess with him or he would retrieve his handgun.
Murrell walked to his truck while another worker approached him and asked if he
made threats about a gun. Murrell then displayed the gun in his lap. He then
pointed the gun at the worker and stated several times he was a killer. Murrell
then drove away.
He
was stopped shortly thereafter. The gun was recovered.
Murrell
was also charged with driving an unregistered vehicle.
