Sobriety Checkpoint Saturday

There will be a sobriety checkpoint held Saturday, June 2^nd in Marathon. The checkpoint will be between the hours of 8 p.m. and 2 a.m. in the vicinity of Iberia Bank at 55^th Street and U.S. One. Cars will be periodically pulled over and driver’s will be checked to make sure they are not impaired by alcohol or drugs. Cars will also be checked for safety violations such as headlights and taillights out, improper window tinting, etc.
