Crime Prevention Signs posted

In an effort to prevent vehicle burglaries, these signs were put up in at least 15 locations in the Lower Keys with the assistance of Jim Crane from Monroe County Public Works. The signs warn people not to leave valuables in their car and to lock car doors. Left to right, Deputies Jon Riggs, Donald Stulken, Lt. Donnie Catala and Jim Crane. Sgt. Linda Mixon assisted with finding appropriate locations for the signs.
