• A contractor for the Florida Department of Transportation
will be inspecting the Seven Mile Bridge from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday
and Wednesday of this week.
The work could be done earlier than 5 p.m., but motorist
should expect slow traffic on the bridge during those times as traffic will be
diverted around a snooper truck.
There will be delays in traffic in both directions.
FDOT has a app for smartphones called Florida 511 that
motorists may be interested in. The app provides up-to-the-minute, real-time
traffic conditions. It is a great companion app to the Sheriff’s Office app for
smartphones. For more information go to: https://fl511.com/app
Both the fl511 app and the Sheriff’s App are available on
Apple App Store and Google Play.
