A 39-year-old Marathon, Florida man was arrested Monday for threatening military aircraft.
Michael Angelo Robulock was charged with threatening to discharge a destructive device.
Robulock told the Sheriff’s Office the military was flying helicopters over his residence, adding that he would launch rockets at them if they flew below 1,000 feet. He stated, “If these (expletive deleted) keep flying over my house, they’re going to get a rocket.”
He was taken into custody without incident.
The Sheriff’s Office notified the U.S. Navy of Robulock’s statements and subsequent arrest.
