The body of an adult male was found Tuesday at Clarence S. Higgs Memorial Beach Park.
Detectives were able to obtain fingerprints, but they are
still working on identifying the body.
A beach worker found the body at approximately 7:35 a.m.
There does not appear to be any signs of foul play.
Autopsy results are pending.
The man was described as being approximately 5-foot-8, 150
to 160 pounds, possibly in his 60s with gray hair and a well-groomed beard. He has
a six-inch surgical scar on his lower right abdomen and was found wearing a
black long-sleeved shirt, black shorts and black socks.
Anyone with information that may help identify the man is
asked to call Detectives at 305-289-2410.
