Alex's Towing owner Christina Rodriguez accepted a plaque this week from Colonel Rick Ramsay and Detective Sgt. Linda Mixon; the company recently assisted the Sheriff's Office Major Crimes Unit by towing a partially burned trailer from a crime scene on Big Pine Key for no charge. "This is an example of the important partnerships we have in our community. Without these partnerships, it would be much harder for us to do our job protecting our citizens," said Colonel Ramsay. "We thank Alex's towing for their contributions to this effort."
