Key Largo man charged with burglary

A Key Largo man was arrested today, charged with burglarizing a the business he works for.

37 year old Jerry Duckworth works for All American Towing and Tires in Key Largo. On Wednesday the owner of the business called the Sheriff’s Office to report an electric drill valued at $660 missing from his business. He told Deputy Bryan Branco he had surveillance cameras on his property. He said he’d reviewed the video and it showed his employee, Duckworth, jumping the fence on the property at 2:40 a.m. Wednesday and stealing the drill.

Deputy Branco reviewed the video and identified Duckworth as the theft suspect. A warrant was issued for his arrest and on Friday morning, he was charged with burglary and grand theft and he was booked into jail.
