Two homeless men, ages 57 and 36, were arrested Wednesday
night for brawling near Higgs Beach in Key West.
Serafin Mora Alvarez, 57, and Robert Benjamin Albury, 36,
were both charged with disorderly intoxication and disorderly conduct.
Deputy Vince Pacifico was on duty at Higgs Beach at 4:50
p.m. when several tourists told him two men were fighting near the dog park.
Pacifico found both men, later identified as Alvarez and Albury, punching each
other in the face and head. Both men were bleeding and had facial injuries.
Both men were taken to Lower Keys Medical Center on Stock
Island.
Both men refused to say they were victims in the fight.
Both men claimed it was a mutual fight.
Both men were taken to jail following treatment at the
hospital.
