A 26-year-old Rockland Key woman was arrested Tuesday night
after she was found to be in possession of 30 grams of methamphetamine.
Erica Palomino was charged with trafficking in amphetamines,
possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of probation.
Deputies William Guerra and Aaron Roddy as well as
Detectives went to serve a violation of probation warrant at 4 p.m. on the 500
block of Shore Drive.
The warrant was for previous drug possession.
Palomino was found in an air-conditioned shed behind a
mobile trailer. A wallet was lying near a bed where she was found that
contained a total of 30 grams of methamphetamine.
Two cell phones, a digital scale, baggies commonly used to
package narcotics and $228 in cash were also found.
Palomino was taken to jail.
