Liveaboard charged with making threats

A 56-year-old Boot Key Harbor liveaboard was arrested Thursday for posting threats against a city official on Facebook.

Darryl Arthur Bergeron was charged with intimidation – writing or sending threats to kill or injure.

Marathon Ports Director Sean Conner reported Bergeron wrote the following message twice on Facebook: “You are just another undesirable human! And Sean is the Law! Time to kill Lil b******* Hitler!”

Conner told Detective Mario Benedetti that he expelled Bergeron from the Marathon City Marina several years ago and that Bergeron has been upset ever since.

Bergeron admitted to writing the threats on Facebook.

Bergeron was taken to jail.
